The facility accommodates 25 dogs at a time. We maintain a staff-to-dog ratio of 1:15 at all times, in line with industry best practices. We are fully licensed in the city of Quincy and permitted to watch 25 dogs at a time. Please follow this link to view testimonials from our clients when we applied for our zoning permit with the city.

Our location includes multiple large play spaces, inside and out. There are two indoor play areas and two sections outdoors which enables us to separate playgroups by size, temperament, and canine preferences. The space is inspired by cozy home environments with comfortable furniture and bedding. Though most of the dogs choose to utilize the couches and dog beds, we do have crates available for dogs who feel safe in a crate. We can also accommodate owner requests for those who prefer their pup sleeps or rests in a crate for training generalization. There are no built-in kennels or runs.

We understand that things come up and plans change. However, we are at capacity most days so we recommend requesting services and changes as soon as possible. Because last minute changes can take spots away from other dogs, the following fees will apply;

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations requested after 6am the day prior to the service will be charged the full amount.

  • Cancellations requested after 6am two days prior to the service will be charged 50%.

Late Booking Fee

  • Services requested after 6pm the day prior will be charged an additional booking fee of $15.

To maintain a safe and stress free environment for our pups, we are unable to have any guests walking through the facility. For those who were unable to attend our Open House, we have photos of our facility available in the client packet.

We love and accommodate pups of all breeds and temperaments! We are skilled in reading dog body language, providing structured and appropriate introductions of new dog pack members ,and we have experience in multiple dog training methods. Our team has over 30 years of combined experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and special needs. We work hard to build relationships with all pups so that we can provide excellent and individualized care for each of our pack members. We prioritize the safety of all dogs by taking the following safety measures

● Before any dog permanently joins our pack, they come for a full day evaluation to
determine if they are a good fit.

● We introduce new dogs to our pack intentionally and systematically.

● We pay close attention to the body language of all the dogs.

● We use training and behavior management strategies that avoid conflicts
between dogs before they arise.

New pack members are introduced strategically based on a few different factors. Some dogs
are best introduced with parallel walks, other dogs are best introduced off leash. We always
start introductions slowly, with just a couple of veteran dogs and the new dog. Then after
assessing the body language and how the new dog does, we slowly introduce the rest of the
pack. Our biggest strength in these situations is that all of the dogs that we watch regularly,
know each other really well. This makes such a huge difference when bringing in one new dog
because the new dog has the ability to acclimate to the rest of the pack, while the rest of the
pack is already comfortable and familiar with the routines/structure.

All dogs should come with anything needed for walks: collar, leash, harness, etc.
If your dog will be here for their typical meal times, please send food packed and labeled individually for each meal. We have a fridge and freezer and can accommodate wet and raw diets. Let us know when they typically eat.

If your dog needs any medication while with us, please send it in original packaging with clear
instructions for administration. We have staff that are trained in all types of dog medication
administration.

For the health and safety of all pups in our care we use our own sanitized supply of these items:

  • dog beds
  • blankets
  • dog toys
  • dog bowls and slow feeders.
  • crates

As you may have seen on our social media, we post lots of high quality photos of pups at play.
To ensure our staff are paying attention to all the dogs’ needs, we do not send individualized
updates* throughout the day. We will reach out if there is anything you need to know, or if we
have questions or concerns. If you text us checking in, we may not be able to respond while
taking care of the pups.

See our Video Chat service available to Sleepover clients who want some extra updates.

*New pups to the pack can expect updates on their first day.

We ask clients to keep dogs home if they are sick, but we all know sometimes new symptoms come up during the day. We will let you know if your dog is exhibiting concerning symptoms. If we have confirmed cases of bordetella, canine cough, we let all clients know, and also send specific information if your pup was definitely in close contact with the infected pup during a stay with us.

We also have preventive measures in place to keep your pups healthy. All dogs we watch are required to be up to date on rabies, bordetella, and distemper vaccinations. Our client software tracks all vaccine expiration dates and prevents scheduling requests from clients that are not up to date on vaccines. Our facility is equipped with AerapyR UV Disinfection Technology which kills 99.9% of tested virus and bacterial pathogens. We also sanitize all interior and exterior spaces with germicidal cleaner and disinfectant.

We have a brand new fire panel, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire alarms connected to the Quincy Fire Department through fire alarm monitoring. We have security systems inside and outside the building. Our facility is staffed 24/7 and passed the fire prevention inspection including functioning fire extinguishers, evacuation plan, lockbox, and all other local requirements.

In the event of a medical emergency, we contact pawrents immediately and we take animals to emergency vets if needed. All clients sign a waiver consenting to veterinary care in their absence if necessary.
